Cinderella's Pumpkin Soup

(6 servings)
1 quart - Rich milk or milk and part heavy cream
1 medium sized onion sliced
4 whole cloves
4 sprigs of parsley (bruised by pressing with the back of a spoon)
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/4 of a whole nutmeg, grated
1 tablespoon chicken stock concentrate
(or 3 chicken bouillon cubes)
1 bay leaf
2 cups canned pumpkin
1 teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper to taste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Minced parsley
6 teaspoons butter
Scale the milk with the onion, cloves, parsley, garlic, nutmeg, bayleaf, and chicken stock concentrate.
Add the pumpkin, salt and pepper.
Cook over hot water for 15 minutes; (use double boiler or similarpot)  pour through wire strainer and add lemon juice to the soup.
Serve with a sprinkle of minced parsley and about 1 tsp butter ontop of each bowlful.
(Remember this is a squash so butter enhances it but you could alsouse a dollop of sour cream on top too.)

Dopey's Apple Upside Down Pie
1 cup walnut halves
1/2 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
2    unbaked pie crusts (homemade or store bought)
5 medium apples, peeled and sliced
1/2 cup of sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. flour
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Mix the walnut halves, brown sugar and melted butter together andset aside.
Spray a deep 9-inch pie plate with a "no stick" cooking spray and pour the nut mixture into the pie pan.
Lay the first pie crust over the mixture and set aside.
Make the filling of the apples, sugar, cinnamon, flour and nutmega nd pour it on top of the pie crust.
Lay the second pie crust on top of the apple filling and crimp the edges of the crust.
Cut slits in the top of the crust and sprinkle with sugar. Bake 45 minutes in a 375 oven on a drip tray. Let cool for 15 minutes on a cooling rack. Loosen edges with a table knife and invert onto a serving plate.

Flora, Fauna and Merryweather's Forget Me Not Tea
1 (15 oz jar) Tang breakfast drink
1 cup sugar
1 cup unsweetened instant tea mix
1/2 cup instant lemonade mix
1 pkg. Cherry Kool-Ade (unsweetened)
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Store in an airtight container. Stir 2 heaing teaspooms of tea mix into 8 oz. hot or cold water.
Makes 4 cups of tea mix.

Winnie the Pooh's Orange Honey
1 cup honey
1 1/2 tsp orange-flavored extract.
Combine and store in an airtight container.

PLUTO'S PUPPY CHOW FOR PEOPLE
1/2 pound margarine
1 lg. box Crispix cereal
12 oz. milk chocolate chips
1 lb. salted peanuts
3/4 cup peanut butter
1&1/2 c. powdered sugar
Melt oleo, chocolate chips & pnut butter. Place Crispix cereal and peanuts in a paper bag. Pour melted mixture over cereal and shake well. Pour powdered sugar in bag and shake well again.

Martha's Supercalifragilisticexpealidocious Chocolate Cake
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
4 Tbls cocoa
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp soda
3 ½ oz oil
1 ½ Tbls white vinegar
1 ½ cups hot water
1 tsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. You don't have to use a mixer. Bake in 9X13 greased & floured pan at 350 for 25 to 30 mins. Remove from oven and immediately frost with icing.
Icing
3/4 stick butter or margarine
1/3 cup cocoa
(melt butter and mix cocoa till well blended)
Add 4 cups powdered sugar, add small amounts of milk to help blend.
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

POOH'S Soft Pretzels
1 Pkg cake yeast
1 1/2 c warm water
3/4 t salt
1 1/2 t sugar
4 c flour
1 egg beaten
coarse salt
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Soften yeast in warm water in large bowl. Add salt and sugar. Mix in flour, kneading to make soft, smooth dough. Do not let rise. Cutimmediately into smaller pieces. Roll into ropes and form pretzel shapes. Place on cookie sheet covered with foil and dusted with flour. Brush pretels with beaten eggand sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake 15 minutes or until light brown. Serve warm or cold, plain or with mustard. OR HONEY!!! I like to put a thick slice of Kraft cheese on them and microwave for about 50 seconds! Makes 3 to 6 dozen, depending upon size.

Pooh's Favorite Pecan Pie
a.k.a. Texas Pecan Pie
2 Eggs
3/4 Cup Sugar
3 Tablespoons Cornstarch
1/2 Cup Butter or Margarine (melted)
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
2 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup (Karo)
1 Cup Pecans (I like mine chopped)
Bake 28-35 minutes @ 350 deg. I usually remove from the oven at about 30 mins. while center is slightly jiggly -- it will firm up.This is great baked in the Pillsbury fold-out pie crust --  this crust looks and tastes just like homemade

GOOFY'S GOOF BALLS
1 bag large marshmallows
1 cup butter or oleo
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. caramel candy
1 (10 oz) box Rice Krispies
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
Cut marshmallows in half and freeze. Melt caramels, butter and milk in double boiler. Dip marshmallows in caramel sauce and roll in Rice Krispies cereal. Refrigerate to set.
Makes 4-5 dozen

Snow White's Apple Cake
6 or 7 large apples, sliced in thick slices
Combine and sprinkle over apple slices:
5 Tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Mix together:
2 Cups sugar
1 Cup cooking oil
4 beaten eggs
Add:
1/4 Cup orange juice
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Gradually add:
3 Cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
In a greased and floured tube pan, alternate batter and apples, beginning and ending with apples. The secret to this easy cake is to bake it slowly at low heat. A general rule is a 300 degree oven for about 1 1/2 hours. Be sure the cake is baked completely through by testing with a toothpick. Delicious served with vanilla ice cream!

Jimminy Cricket's Jiffy Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cake
1 box white cake mix
1/2 Cup chocolate chips
1/2 Cup chopped nuts
1 egg, beaten
1 pkg. chocolate pudding, cooked according to directions on box
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease 9 X 13-inch pan. Cook and cool pudding. Add dry cake mix and egg. Pour into pan and spread chocolate chips and nuts evenly on top. Bake 30 minutes.

Daisy Duck's "Dump Cake" (Donald's favorite!!)
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple packed in juice
1 box (18 oz. yellow cake mix (any brand)
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped
1 stick (4oz.) butter, cut in pieces
Grease a 9 X 13-inch pan. Dump in, in order, the cherry pie filling, pineapple including juice, dry cake mix and nuts; smooth after each layer. DO NOT MIX. Place the butter pieces evenly on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve with ice cream!
Variations: Different fruit pie fillings, white cake mix, walnuts or almonds. (This is a Mr. Food recipe and OOH, it's so GOOD!)

Dumbo's Elephant Ears
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk, scalded and cooled
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons butter, softened
2 cups white sugar
4 tablespoons melted butter
3 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
Mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter, as for pastry.
Soften yeast in water. Combine milk, egg yolk and softened yeast. Add to flour mixture and mix well.
Cover dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
Place dough on a lightly floured cutting board and knead lightly. Cover with a cloth and allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Roll dough into a rectangle, 10x18 inches, and brush with soft butter. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon and sprinkle evenly over dough. Roll as for jelly roll, sealing the edge. The roll should be 18 inches long.
Cut dough into 1-inch slices.
Mix remaining sugar and cinnamon on a large square of waxed paper or aluminum foil. Place slices, one at a time, on sugar mixture and roll into 5-inch balls.  Sprinkle nuts on top and press gently.
Place dough on ungreased cookie sheets, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with about 1 teaspoon of the  sugar-cinnamon mixture.
Bake immediately in a preheated 400 degree oven about 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

Winnie the Pooh's Honey and Fruit Cookies

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground walnuts
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup honey
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup raisins
1 cup currants
1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
Combine flour, walnuts, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon, and salt.
In small saucepan over low heat, melt shortening and honey, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour into large bowl. Stir in brown sugar, eggs and milk until well blended. Slowly add dry ingredients. Fold in raisins, currants and dates.  Cover and chill for 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets.
Drop by spoonfuls 2 inches apart on cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes, until lightly colored.

Song of the South Derby Pie
1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell
6 oz. choc. chips
1 stick oleo (melted)
1/2 cup flour
2 eggs (beaten)
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup sugar
1 cup chopped pecans
put chocolate chips in bottom of unbaked pie shell.
mix oleo, flour, eggs, vanilla, sugar - stir in pecans -pour into pie  shell - top with a  few whole pecans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. cool top with cool whip or ice cream if you   wish.

Cinderella's Dinner in a Pumpkin

1sm-med...... pre-carriage pumpkin..cleaned out.
You can even decorated it with a permanent marker. Your kids will have a ball. Keep the top this is a Disney recipe so there is no topless pumpkin here!!!
3/4 c. chopped onion
1-2 t. margarine or butter
1 1/2 lbs.browned hamburger
2 t. brown sugar
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cup cooked rice
2 t. soy sauce
1- 4oz. can mushrooms (drained)
Mix all ingredients together and place in pumpkin. Put on the top. Place pumpkin on cookie sheet cover with top and cook at 350* for 1 hour or until pumpkin is cooked. Before you can say bibbity-boppity-bo you have a wonderful feast for your family. When they ask you how you did it just tell them it was magic!!!! You serve the rice mixture and the pumpkin.

Pluto's Puppy Chow
1 16 oz. box of Quaker Crunchy brand cereal (yellow box)
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 cup peanut butter
1 11 1/2 oz. bag of milk chocolate chips
3 or 4 cups of powdered sugar
Melt together the butter/margarine, peanut butter and chocolate chips over low heat stirring well.
Pour the mixture over the cereal and mix well until all the cereal is coated. Then coat this mixture with the powdered sugar. This makes one large bowl full and you can serve it in a large doggie dish (new and clean of course!!!)!

POOH'S HONEY SQUARES

Good for the rumbly in the tumbly!
Beat together:
1/2 c. honey
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine & add to above:
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Add:
1 c. uncooked oatmeal
Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 until set (about 15-20 mins.).
Cool & cut in squares. Serve with tea & love to your friends!

Mickey Mouse Eggs
This is a true story, a large group of us were camping at Ft. Wilderness Campground, in Orlando's Walt Disney World, many years ago! We decided to have brunch...use up all our eggs, and leftovers from the refrig... We made these (scrambled) eggs, and called them Mickey Mouse eggs..and the name stayed!
1 dozen eggs
2/3 cup milk or light cream
1 1/2 t. salt
dash pepper
pepperoni
vegetables cut up or chopped as you like:
onion
mushrooms
green pepper
tomato
Scramble in a small amount of fat in frying pan..we used the grill ...stirring frequently until set. Serves 8

MICKEY"S MOUSSE
5 oz. semisweet chocolate, melted
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1/4 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 egg whites
1/4 c. sugar

Melt chocolate over hot water. Remove from heat. Combine egg yolks and
cream. Gradually add to chocolate, stirring rapidly. Add vanilla.
Beat egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into
chocolate mixture. Chill until firm.

The Little Mermaid Tuna Casserole

8oz Egg Noodles
1 6oz can of  albacore tuna
1 can of Cambells Cream of Mushroom Soup (can use lite)
1 cup of frozen green beans
4oz cheddar cheese (shredded)
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and rinse tuna. Put all ingredients into a 9x9 pan. Stir well. Add cooked (drained) pasta, stir mix again. Sprinkle top of casserole with the shredded cheese. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
